Chiropractic is one of the largest primary-contact health care professions in Ontario. It is based on a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline focusing on the neuromusaculoskeletal system. Chiropractors are manual therapists who provide diagnosis, treatment and preventative care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints throughout the body.

A thorough history and physical examination is performed, in order to provide a diagnosis and plan of management specific to each patient. Following visits are approximately 20 mins and usually contain a combination of the following therapies:

An adjustment is a highly skilled and precise movement usually applied by hand to a joint of the body. Joints are assessed by the Chiropractor to determine which are not moving properly and/or are restricted. Adjustments loosen the joint to restore proper movement and optimize function. Adjustments can be performed to any joint in the body including, joints of the spine, elbow, wrist, hip, ankle and jaw.
